HOMEWAY Socket TRI-PLAY

The patented HomeWay multimedia socket (pvd-unit) TRI-PLAY is the basic reason for the flexible use of a connection point. Pvd-unit is the base on which the HomeWay-Multimedia cable is connected. This multimedia socket can on demand be modified to receive plug-in modules for TV or/and plug-in modules for network services for telephone and PC. If the particular connection point is not needed then the multimedia socket (pvd-unit) remains inactive for future use. The special covers protect the inactive pvd-unit from outside factors.

Simply by adding/removing of variant modules, which is done in seconds and requires no specialized knowledge, the user can activate one inactive pvd-unit . 

This activation feature of each pvd-unit by the same user makes every HomeWay installation economical. For example in a house with one family 6-12 pvd-units are initially distributed on average 4 TV-Modules and 4 communications modules.
